Hi! I'm Amanda
I'm so excited to connect with you!
A little about me: I’ve been working as a program planning and scheduling analyst for a government contractor since 2018, and I truly love what I do. Most days, you’ll find me deep in Microsoft Project, building and managing schedules that keep programs moving forward.
My educational path reflects my curiosity and love of learning. I earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Baltimore, followed by a M.S. in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation from the University of Maryland Global Campus. I also hold an MBA from UMGC, which has strengthened my understanding of business operations and management.
Outside of work, I’m kind of a nerd. I love tech gadgets and emerging technology (I often have to talk myself out of buying the newest devices). That passion not only keeps me ahead of the curve, but also helps me support others with all things tech-related. I also am never far from my phone, but not for the reasons you may think - I need to have access to my kindle or kindle apps at all times. I read daily and actually track how many books/pages I read at the end of each year. Reading used to be so excessive my mom would tell me as a kid to put the book down and go outside and play... I circumvented that by bringing the books outside with me. Win-Win.
When I’m not working, reading or learning about all the new devices and tech, you’ll probably find me by the pool or at the beach. I’ve always loved the water—whether I’m swimming, floating, or just relaxing nearby, it’s where I feel most at home. I can also be found teaching swim lessons or lifeguarding at my local YMCA.
If you ever need a hand with scheduling, technology, or troubleshooting, I’d be glad to help. I enjoy solving problems, setting up new devices, navigating software, and optimizing workflows. And if I don’t know the answer, I’ll find it—or connect you with someone who does.
